Fall Fundraiser: A Success!


THANKS TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED!

Thanks to the hundreds of parents and family members who participated in the RBEF fall fundraiser! You are the people who help make schools in Redondo Beach the best they can be!

For the second time the Redondo Beach Education Foundation held a fundraiser to get everybody back in the spirit for the Fall.

To add to the excitement, for every $25 a person donated their name was entered into a drawing for a 7-Day Cruise for TWO! 

It was an exciting moment at the January 24, 2006 School Board Meeting when RBEF President Ondine Fortune pulled the winning ticket from a jar filled with 986 tickets! She read the number on the ticket and RBEF Treasurer Cindy Szerlip called the name of the winners: Dan and Mary Little!

A cheer went up, as Mary Little is Co-Principal at RUHS, and Mary and her husband Dan are members of the Redondo Education Society--a special group of people who support the Foundation and our schools with donations of $1,000 or more each year!

Congratulations!

For 2007 join in the excitement at "Cruising Into Summer" when this years winners will be announced at this fun community event. You do not need to be present to win.
