Dear RBEF Community,
As I round out the first six months as your executive director, I find myself reflecting on what I have learned so far. For me, education doesn’t end when we graduate or complete a course of study. It is a lifelong process. And what I have learned in my first six months is that RBEF’s mission would never be possible without all of you.
Day in and day out, I am reminded how lucky I am to be able to work side-by-side with amazing parents, teachers, administrators and community members to support public education in Redondo Beach. Thank you!
The biggest highlight came last month when I attended the RBUSD Board of Education meeting with members of the RBEF Board of Trustees. That evening, we presented this year’s RBEF grant of $1,083,000 to the district. More information about what that money will support can be found here.
