Developing the Whole Child

Whole Child Education ensures that students develop broader life skills and creates environments that not only promote students’ academic growth, but also their cognitive, social, emotional and physical development. RBEF is proud to fund programs that help support the RBUSD mission of Whole Child Development.

Each year, RBUSD provides RBEF with a list of programs the district is seeking funding for the following school year and asks RBEF for the money to fund those teachers/programs. RBEF fundraises for that amount through the Investor Drive and various events throughout the year. Funding this request, allows RBEF to help support the Redondo Beach Unified School District’s focus on developing the whole child.
