Whole Child Support

RBEF is proud to fund programs that help support the RBUSD mission of developing the whole child. Whole Child Development ensures that students develop broader life skills and creates environments that promote not only students’ academic growth but also their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

Each year, RBUSD provides RBEF with a list of programs the district is seeking funding for the following school year and asks RBEF for money to fund those teachers and/or programs. RBEF fundraises for that amount through the Investor Drive and various events throughout the year. Funding this request allows RBEF to help support the Redondo Beach Unified School District’s focus on developing the whole child.

  • First Lego League Robotics – Elementary (4th & 5th) and  Middle School (6th-8th)
  • Beach Cities Robotics – High School (9th-12th)

Arts and Music

  • Vocal Music Teachers – Elementary School (TK-4th)

  • AVID Support  – Middle (6th-8th) and High School (9th-12th)
