Student Legacy Scholarships 

The Redondo Beach Educational Foundation awards three (3) annual Legacy Scholarships of $1,000 each to seniors at Redondo Union High School. Applicants must have attended RUHS or Dreizler for all four years of their high school education; must have served in a leadership role in extracurricular activities either at school or in the community; and must be planning to attend a 4-year university, 2-year community college, or a trade school in the fall.

Criteria

  • GPA 3.5 or higher (unweighted)

  • Attended RUHS or Dreizler for all four (4) years

  • Attend a college or trade school in the fall

  • Community service or volunteer work for a minimum of two (2) years

  • Served in a leadership role at RUHS in extra-curricular activity at school or in the community or in athletics

How to Apply

  • The application window for the 2026-2027 RBEF Legacy Scholarships begins in early 2027.

  • All applications will be evaluated, and the winners will be announced in May 2027.
